Creating Opportunities Using Android Based Applications

If a few months back people are still unfamiliar about Gojek, Grab Bike, and BluJek, nowadays they're complaining about how long the driver taking their order to come. People are getting used to businesses models relying on Android based applications or we simply call it apps. The presence of smart phones and apps for them be it based on Android, iOS or Windows (as the latest contender in the market), really do open huge business opportunities. If there is a taxi booking application or rental car, we may expect in the foreseeable future that even exchange stamp collection applications will be available to download and so on and so forth. Creating opportunities using android based applications now is possible. 

Yes, the smart phones based applications are very hip at the moment. Previously companies have their websites as a new business field, then (which is not very long after the websites) those big corporations and even small(er) scale businesses flocking in to social media to market their products. Account on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are obligatory to build closer and more intimate engagement with their customers. However, both website and social media are apparently not personal enough to build engagement.  

Smart phones operating system like Android and iOS provides bigger opportunity to enter customers private boudnaries. So many ideas popped out and get what they need. Environment to grow. Who would have thought that OJEK (Indonesian naming for motorbike public transport) could be ordered online through an application, or maybe insureance claim which usually take months and painful long process to do now just a tap away on our smart phones screen. 

E-commerce and banking indusrty are also riding this wave of opportuity. Now we can buy, sell, transfer and even invest through mobile phone apps. 

In Indonesia, even though Apple has its powerful branding, the vast avriety of device available in the amrket for Android mobile operating system mae it very popular here. And with internet acces coming along with the smart phones and now relatively more affordable price for internet package, Android based applications also getting its popularity. Not to mention that user of the smartphones are young people which in average prefer simplicity by only tapping on menus in an app on their phones rather than typing URL address to browse give more advantage to smartphone based apps. 

Now we can order ojek (as we mentioned earlier in this post), food, transfer, invest and almost everything through mobile applications even selling a service and make our store on-line. Lately, mobile application which facilitates freelance work already start to show its presence.
